A game worth stopping for.
Techmazing at AutumnFest.

At a local festival, attention is the first challenge. Techmazing Heating, Cooling and Plumbing gave people a reason to stop—and a fun way to start a conversation about home services.

Techmazing brought more than a booth to AutumnFest in Loganville, Georgia. Alongside its heating, cooling and plumbing services, the company brought Seasons of Service: a custom-branded video game created by BrandPlay.

With two TVs and controllers ready to go, the game gave festival visitors an immediate invitation: come over and play. Children picked up controllers. Families gathered around the screens. Adults tried the game, too. Techmazing’s branding became part of an experience people could take part in.

The game opened the conversation.

A busy festival offers plenty of things to look at. An interactive game offers something to do. At the Techmazing booth, the characters, colorful levels and hands-on play helped catch people’s attention and draw them into the space.

That gave the team a natural opening to introduce the business. Visitors could enjoy the game while the conversation moved to heating, cooling, plumbing and the services available for their homes.

Hands-on play gave visitors a reason to pause at the booth.

From a controller to a service sign-up.

The goal was more than entertainment. The branded game helped bring people to the booth and encouraged HVAC and plumbing service sign-ups by creating an opportunity for the Techmazing team to connect with visitors.

The game started the interaction; the team carried it forward. That combination matters: an engaging attraction brings people closer, and a relevant conversation helps them understand what the business can do for them.

Attract attention. Start a conversation. Offer a next step.

At AutumnFest, that next step was signing up for Techmazing’s HVAC and plumbing services.

A game that belonged to the brand.

Seasons of Service brings Techmazing’s identity into a platform adventure with its own hero, villains and seasonal worlds. Players encounter a service company through an experience built around its personality.

It is the same idea behind BrandPlay: make a business memorable by giving people something enjoyable to participate in. The creative work and the marketing purpose belong together.

A custom game world carries the business’s identity into the experience.

What other businesses can take from this.

A playable booth attraction can give visitors a reason to stop, help a team break the ice, and make the brand part of a shared moment. The experience works best when there is a clear next step after the game—whether that means a service inquiry, a product conversation or an invitation to stay connected.

For Techmazing at AutumnFest, the connection was direct: play the game, meet the team, and learn about heating, cooling and plumbing services. Fun brought people into the conversation. The business gave that conversation a purpose.
